I recently found a seller on Amazon who was selling these packet of 5 'spring flowering' bulbs. He did not tell the name and he is not replying to my question. But one of the person who bought a packet uploaded this pic.imagei know that red is hyacinth, pink are ranunculus, blue is a narcissus but don't know about green.

Is the green one a tulip bulb??

More likely a snowdrop I think.  A flowering size tulip bulb would be bigger than that.

One of each isn't going to make a display.  Have a look in your local garden centre, most bulbs are going half price or less.  At least you would know what they are going to be. They need to be in the ground or pots asap.

I have just planted botanical tulip bulbs that size but the outer skin was a much richer brown.  I suggest you plant it and see what happens.

I kniw you're in India and may have import restrictions but can I suggest you go online to one of th ebig Dutch bulb producers?  They have a huge, named range at good prices and quality .  Has to be better than risks on an unknown site or private grower shipping one bulb at a time.

    Have a look at these - http://bulbi.nl/default/?gclid=Cj0KEQiAyuPCBRCimuayhb3qqvwBEiQAgz62kaQCHVJtDDXmoLYSUDhH3LOfjU5Pf29i45V0m1d2_u0aAnk18P8HAQ

I have a friend who buys all her bulbs from these people - http://www.peternyssen.com/our-shop/autumn-planting/tulips/tulipa-or-miniature-tulips.html

Go for botanical tulips as they are nearest to the species so tougher and also shorter for standing up to strong winds.  Go with small narcissus/daffodils as they do best in exposed sites.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Thanks a lot for that website!!!! =D  those are so reasonably priced........ Will check out all about import restrictions and stuff. It might be late for ordering from Holland this year(will look into this as well) but am definitely ordering for next year.......again thanks a lot for this link.......have noted it in my journal.

I will get both botanical and early flowering tulips...... Both have high chances of survival, here......

    Thanks for your replyimage

i think that green one could be a 'botanical' tulip. Don't know why they're called that. image

I got a bag of reduced mixed ones and some were like that. Several different colours and shapes but all had that little curl at the top.

    Thanks for the reply, nutcutlet.image

I am gonna let go of this one.....instead, get some from Holland next year...... That a better deal. It will be cheaper than this and will have the assurance that the product will be of good quality from a reputable source.

At https://dutch-bulbs.com we offer an excellent collection of flower bulbs from Holland
but avoid paying to advertise . Very cheeky and not the sort of company with whom I'd do business.
