Covering ugly fence - minimal space

    One comment I would make is be careful if painting the fence in black that you don't get too much 'bleed' through to your neighbours side. I don't know if that is your fence or your neighbours but having seen this done before the other side can end up looking awful and I'm sure you don't want to fall out with them.

    Good point. I don't want to fall out with the neighbours on both sides! I would always have a chat before doing that sort of thing. I would even offer to do their side, that way I get to do the top.
