Early flowering bulbs sat around for months - still good?
Hi everyone,
I ordered some early flowering bulbs (Narcissus, Anemone, Muscari & Chionodoxa) back in September and they've been left in their cardboard boxes in a cool room since. I checked on them yesterday as I've got some time to plant them all this week and they've now started to grow up to 1" long green/white shoots - are they still OK to be planted or have I damaged them by leaving them out?
Many thanks, Ben.

Get them in the soil Ben. As long as the bulbs are soft and mouldy they'll sort themselves out.
Ben, yes plant them asap. I think Clarington made a typo - I'm sure she meant "...as long as the bulbs are not soft and mouldy..."

Oops!!
Yes I did indeed mean NOT soft and mouldy!! This brain of mine; it thinks too fast for my fingers to keep up.
It may help to soak them in a bucket of cold water for an hour or two to rehydrate them so they can get their roots going faster in the soil.
