Echinacea purpurea disease?

First of all - i am very new at this, but this wee guy is not doing well. His leaves started to yellow- I guess from overwatering and then I brought him inside to protect from cold (wrong thing?) and now this. I think he has a disease. Would love someone to help me decifer the issue so I can take steps! Thank you!

Hi GardenerNotGardener, Echinacea are hardy perennials and can tolerate very cold temperatures outside and the leaves usually die back at this time of year to reappear in the spring. Stop watering it and put it outside. If the pot is not frost proof place it in one. Plant it out in the garden in the spring.
I agree with Bright star.
Also, echinacea hate soggy soil so make sure there are some good drainage holes in the pot, and raise it up on a brick or something to make sure that it drains freely.

oh thank you so much Bright star and Dovefromabove. This all sounds great, I will follow both your advice and fingers crossed it works!
