How to bring frogs into my garden

    I don't rate the eggshell thing at all. My house has a crushed shell render and they regularly climb up it image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • We have the big orange slugs ArionRufus. I've never seen them on our Hostas. It's snails ghat seem to do their best to destroy our Hostas.

  • As well as frogs and toad, hedgehogs also eat slugs. Do consider them if you use slug pellets as they will surely either die or suffer terribly from any slug deterrent.

  • We use gravel on our paths and also around some of our precious plants, and also spread a thick layer of wood chips on our flower beds - both of which act as a deterrent to slugs.
