Viburnum flower buds not opening

  • Hello ... my Viburnum is 2 years old.  I've never had buds on it let alone a flower.  it is sitting in light shade so I wonder whether that will be causing it not to flower ....

It's still a baby ... like humans they need to grow up a bit before they reproduce and that's what flowering is about ... mine is in shade for half the day and that doesn't stop it flowering ... yours will flower when it's a bit more mature.
