Christmas Hyacinths

I have just taken my forced hyacinths out of the garage into the house to flower for Christmas. All were fine except for one bulb which has pushed up out of the compost and is standing up about an inch on its roots. - What can I do?

I'd get some moss and cover the compost with that - it'll hide the uneven look. Maybe next year a bigger bowl with more root room?
