I get an amazing harvest of toms in baskets hanging from my south-facing shed.
From July till Oct there are masses of fruit.
I often grow Tumbling Tom but really like Maskotka, I think it has a better flavour than TT.
I just use Levington Potting compost and feed with Tomorite once the first truss has set.
On warm days they will need watering once/day - sometimes more.
If you grow from seed don't sow too early or you'll have weak leggy plants that are unable to support the weight of fruit.

It's the long dark days of Jan and early Feb I think are the worst. At least once we get into March the days get longer quicker then there's too much to do all over again

My Veg Soup parties are the stuff of legend!
I add a bit of curry powder to give some extra depth and flavour and lots of herbs, and only enough lentils to thicken a bit
