The Town Hall has went through a Major Renovation the past couple of years and is, in 2016....finished....????????????????????.

Clarice, I was born in Worcester,1957. I haven't got any pictures of it or how it is now. I moved 31 years ago and haven't been in the town since. But I do go to the cemetery where my parents are. So if you want some pics you will have to google Worcester.
I live in Redditch now.

Forgot to mention, I liked the shops in Worcester. I used to buy my dress making fabric from debenams. Then get everything else from Woolworths. I used to work in littlewoods store when I left school, in the kitchen cooking and cafeteria serving. I think the shops are still there but there is a shopping centre. But in Redditch I like the openness of it, but the shops are rubbish.

OH is from Worcester, born in Bewdley, and his sister still lives nearby so we visit from time to time.
I was born in Mbeya which was the nearest town to a remote village where my parents ran the leprosarium for 5 years. Never been back and have no photos of it then or now.
Whilst living in Belgium for 25 years I collected old postcards of our local town and the surrounding villages. Interesting to see what was, how it has changed or disappeared and compare to present day.
Doghouse Riley, used to live close to the town centre. We were brought up in a old council estate in the Tolladine region. I went to gorse hill infants and juniors school,then went to Samuel sauthall secondary school.When I went to the secondary school there was a lot more kids that I was used to, I found it very over whelming. Rest of family still live there,close to wilds lane and my son and 2 brothers.
Hi everyone and nice to have an insight into where everyone is from/born/lived.? Some places have changed for the better and some not so much over the years ?. I love to see the style of clothes and cars in the old photos.
No cameras in the house, when I was a lad.
Born 58 in Bromsgrove, Worcs. Went to Bromsgrove High School, left at 17 to go to university.
Mum still lives there, I barely recognise the place now.

I was born in Tibberton in 1949 and lived there until 1970s when I got married , I collect old postcards I've got lots of Droitwich but can't find one of Tibberton.
Have not got any photos, but can tell of a strange coincidence. When I was teaching I found a book which contained photos of 'slum' dwellings in my old town. Imagine my surprise when one of the pictures was of my mother and her sister stood outside their parents Corner shop. I was a little horrified in that the area was far from a slum though.
Born in Blackpool, but left when I was 3 to come back south where the family came from. Only been back once to see the ' lights'. Was told that Violet Carsons( Ena Sharples from Corrie) lived a few doors away.
