Peony

had a great day in the garden tiding up and pruning. Garden is looking good and winter ready. I have a beautiful peony but it really is in the wrong place can I move it now or shall I wait?

I think I'd get on and do it unless you're either flooded or frozen

  • Thanks, No not frozen or flooded! Do I have to cut it back as all the leaves have gone yellow?

    tree paeony or herbaceous?

Herbaceous, you might as well, it all dies back in winter.

Tree, no, though if it's huge it might help it get established with less to support. If you do cut a tree paeony back do a few stems to the base rather than shortening them all.
