Maybe a daft question but when i bought roses recently some of the stems were covered with wax . I wonder if this is to protect them after being cut . Do i cut them so that they are exposed or leave them. Thank you
Cliff, the reason your roses look so different to Aym's is that yours are Hybrid Tea types and hers is a vigorous floribunda type frequently used as a hedging rose. They both have quite different growth habits. Don't worry, yours are perfectly normal for bare root HT roses
