Identification

Hi

Was just wondering if anyone knew what this shrub/tree was, could it be a Prunus?

Thanks

  • Those look like prunus leaves to me - possibly a flowering cherry.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Thank you!

  • Quite an upright form (possibly P. hillieri 'Spire', too wide spreading for P. 'Amanogawa'), but when was the picture taken? Mine have lost all their leaves now.

  • Yes it was taken a couple of months back - just completely forgot to ask about it image thank you

Looks like a feed in Spring would be good. The leaves look like they have a mineral deficiency, possibly magnesium. Something with a wide spread of nutrients like seaweed meal .
