Lawn disease?
Good evening, I take very good care of my lawn, carrying out at least weekly cuts (obviously now almost ceased) regular feed and weed killing progrmammes etc, But my front lawn has what appears to be a layer of dead grass, this has been the case since late summer and has progressively got worse to the state it is shown in the attached pic. I have carried out an autumn feed in late Sep, scarified (lightly) and reseeded in Oct.
I would really appreciate it if anyone knows what is causing this issue?
The aspect is south facing so plenty of sun.
Regards
Steve

It looks pinky / red which makes me think red thread
Having now looked at red thread the net, it certainly seems to be the same as the symptoms I have. Not sure there is a lot that I can do with it now until spring as a lack of Nitrogen seems to be a big cause and I obviously won't be feeding any nitrogen at this time of year. Thank you for your reply.
