    lovely grass, i've seen a lovely black stemmed one with fluffy heads, its about 3' tall and is £20 at our garden centre, my only concern, perhaps you can help me....will it seed everywhere? I could keep it a pot on the patio? It would be nice to look at it often? Does it need special compost if kept in a pot?

    Luzula nivea would be good, mine are in shade on clay soil that dries out in the summer. They're doing very well.
