Aym didn't like the first series of the missing so didn't bother. Clarkson wasn't sacked by the BBC they just didn't renew his contract. The other 2 just left because they get on together. You want to watch The Fall, that's very good and it has gillian Anderson lead role. I think she is great. Have you watched the X Files? I have and got all the DVDs.

Aym, I think his hearing is going. A few weeks ago a wasp got in and it was behind the settee where we were sitting, we had the telly on he was closer to it than me,I could hear it, he couldn't.I asked what's that buzzing noise? He said to me, your hearings good I couldn't hear it. I said you want your hearing tested, he thought I was joking but I wasn't.image

I really wouldn't be so alarmist about being a bit deaf aym. I have been "hard of hearing" since I was 3 years old (I had measles before vaccines were common), I went to university, married, child etc, live alone now...really it is not difficult. image

Who is this  "Very sick and high functioning and depraved individual and he's the one in Fifty shades of grey! " ???

Aym, thanks for your concern but he's not very bad.image

Gillian Anderson isn't the only one who whispers, it's to do with the filming, we have to put it through the sound system to hear it properly.image

Daisy, sorry about your hearing, it's amazing how we cope with things.image

Aym, hope you can get your son to turn it down. Just watched the grand tour, I still kept nodding off but managed to get nearly all of it.

Aym, there are 4 episodes of Deep Water, that is difficult about your son. Musicians do have problems with hearing. I hope he will be ok. Try to watch 1 episode of Deep Water later today.image

Aym, sorry I didn't answer the other question. Yes we have to pay for the grand tour, it's on Amazon primeimage

    Aym, that's ok.image

Aym, tried to watch it last night, but fell asleep. Because it is raining just watched it,and it's very good, Didn't take much notice of names, but I might watch it again. That's the problem with I player. Can't you get a recorder? We don't have tv with sky or virgin media just broadband,so hubby got a box just to watch the grand tour, that's why we pay monthly.image
