Lost Smilies
For me, I just click on the smiley icon and I get the smiley options -
then click on the smiley and it appears at the cursor position.
What are the circumstances where there's a problem?

I don't recall this problem being raised on any of the "Bug Fix" threads following the forum update (I may be wrong, there were a lot of bugs, and it was quite a while ago).
Pete has shown an excellent example of how it works.
Try following his step by step method.
If that doesn't work fidgets probably right, it's the device. You will have to take it up with Nora GW on Monday morning.
Check your Forum Settings too - click on your name at top right of screen, select my settings and then forum settings. You need to have your editor set to advanced settings, and the one about smilies set to "show as image". If that doesn't help then Nora will need to be called in
Hello there, another option is to use the smilies from your smartphone or tablet, using the Emoji keyboard - ??????????????? (you get the idea!)
