Help!
Look like slugs.
Squish them.
They look like slug eggs - brush them off and put them on the bird table or in the fish pond for the fish.
We do have a MAHOOSIVE number of slugs in our garden - but I've never seen the eggs before. I will enjoy feeding the birds with them, thank you.
I meant slug eggs, not slugs, of course.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
