h i just want to know if anybody has used bayer seal and heal for use on plum tree to prevent silver leaf is it any good if not any suggestion on what i could use instead

I maybe wrong but I thought silverleaf was cased by a fungal disease entering a wound in the tree if the tree has been winter pruned.
The spores are mostly around in the winter, so I think to avoid it, you prune the tree in the summer, not in autumn or winter.
You could give the tree a 'winter wash' which would get rid of some nasties hiding in the bark
