Dove, yes that's a good idea. But for us I haven't got that much room. It's full up with produce from the garden, I've also got 2 small chest freezers up stairs with produce from the garden. At first when we bought the first one for up stairs, it was meant to be for the puppy food because it was raw and came frozen. But slowly it got filled up with fruit. So we got another, the same thing happened. So if we get another puppy I'm going to have to find room for it because we couldn't get another freezer.
LOL Logan, I know what you mean. We've only got a small freezer - I've just had to make a batch of raspberry jam in order to make space in there for Christmas stuff
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Just finished cooking the onions for the stuffing. Found a lot more room in the freezer,so probably do the jacket potatoes with bacon and sweet corn on Saturday.

Dove, I'd put them on my breakfast. It's a waste to make jam out of them.
This afternoon I made the bread crumbs for the sausage stuffing and chopped the fresh sage with it. That's gone in the freezer.

Glenys, thanks. It might be a good idea to test one, to see if they're alright.
