On a brighter note; at the museum we have autistic volunteers who are supported by the autistic centre who perform vital roles in the museum. They are mostly all on the less functional side of the spectrum but clean the building, exhibits, even restore exhibits in some instances, restock leaflet stands, and gain a routine as well as employment experience. Some have even been able to get "proper" jobs through showing their commitment to this role.
