@hostafan1 I envy you, not having to had to sharpen your Felco's. I think I must 'overstretch' my tools because I am always blunting them! I have no2's and think I often cut branches that are too thick for them, that said I seem to have a knack of blunting my loppers as well!! Maybe I am not maintaining them correctly, how do you look after your tools?

I have 2 pairs of Felco ( only because I once lost a pair, then re-found them )
No 2 for everyday stuff and No 8 which I prefer for more delicate stuff like dead heading.
I'd not have any other brand.
Hosta, maybe you just have very strong hands, so don't need to sharpen yours.
