what is the best pumpkin/squash you've ever grown ?
in Fruit & veg
For me, it's Crown Prince, for its good look and sweet taste. The only disadvantage is one has to buy the seeds every year for it's F1 variety.

Crown prince tasted really good and stored well, but took an awful lot of space for the amount produced. Last year I bought a couple in Lidl and then stored them.
I have never tried to grow squash, even Monty had poor results this year ;(
I will try to grow hunter next year. I normally get only one fruit per plant for Crown Prince.
