    Yay LB, I'm not so stoopid after all imageimage

    Biggest irritation for me is having to pull the curtains (to keep the heat in) rather than just twizzling the blinds.

    I am going to keep to the same hour and try and use the extre time at the allotment

    Your thinking works with with nature Gardengirl..  The plants don't care about our timetable... Otherwise gardening would be really easyimage

    PS: I hope you didn't mind me starting the "watching seedlings grow" thread this yearimage

    It was your idea I initially, and I loved the 2015 oneimage  Will you be back to start a 2017 one?

    Dear Kitty, Summer Time was brought in to give longer Summer evenings.  In Winter we revert to GMT.

    Oops. Welshonion. A google nosey shows that you are correct in the summer vs winter evenings. It's either down to Chris Martin's g,g granddad or Benjamin Franklin as to who decided  daylight savings?

    Apparently Spain is going to go back to GMT as opposed to Central European Time - 1 hour ahead of us.  They changed to show solidarity with Germany in the war.  Portugal has never changed from GMT.

    GMT Rules!
