An unique hardy fruit near Maidwell

Hello,
Loquat (eriobotrya japonica) usually fruits in the south countries.
But a unique one was supposed to fruit every year near Maidwell. The leafes was was not the same as usual Loquats.
Does someone know it?
Will you go to see if it's alive?
