Dahlia stems rotting

I would cut the stem off leaving only a couple of inches. Dig the tuber up and prop upside down or sideways to drain any moisture out. When it is dry, dust with sulphur flowers if you can get them, wrap in newspaper and store frost free in a cool place.

If you want to see some real Dahlia porn, trying looking on the Rose Cottage Plants site, they have thousands to choose from. I get mine from there, good size tubers and excellent service.
