I fancied staying at the Hall. They used to do B&B, but now it's only rented out as a whole. It would take a large group.

  • I'm so glad I've finally ventured onto the forum here! After last week's programme I was thinking about Geoff's garden, telling my partner how much I missed seeing it every week after Geoff died, but for the life of me I couldn't remember the name of it! Wonderful to see the autumn colour - thank you!

I left behind a rhus typhina dissecta that I'd brought from my Harrow garden in 1991.   As Belgium is usually quite wet it never coloured up as brilliantly as the ones I've seen here which are a stunning strong, glowing red.  However, it did sucker madly which is why I left it.

Brought two acers in pots and have high hopes of them now.   Got to love autumn.
