I am newbie myself so no expert advice but i would say these are lovely roses. You have got a nice selection. I remember getting mine last year in beginning of nov and planting them with all my love and waited all winter for leaves to appear. They made really nice growth this year and i enjoyed their beauty and fragrance. I was thinking i will only get a handful of flowers but no.. They grew tall and i had so many to enjoy in garden and bring indoor as cutflower.

  • imageimageimageAll now planted all apart from Apricot Nectar yet to sent, I must say all the research and advice from you lot has been really interesting.  I will be gutted if they don't produce a really scented area next to the decking.

  • imageThought I would post some pictures up of my newly planted rose garden, all seem to be doing well and have buds on them.  An attack of greenfly was prevented by some spray.

    That looks promising, Alan.

I was given 3 Gertrude Jekyll for Christmas, doing well too.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Just blast them with the hose or let the birds pick off the aphids for their young Alan, will be bees around
