Lawn mowing and wormcasts

I have recently scarified and find that I get a lot of wormcasts whenever I do this .Is it ok to mow when these are present?

Only mow when the soil and grass is dry and rake the wormcasts or disperse them by sweeping with a broom or besom before mowing, otherwise you'll end up with muddy patches where weed seeds will happily germinate.

With any luck there will be besoms (witches' brooms image) going cheap after next weekend.
