Oxalis - probably Oxalis stricta (yellow flowers?). It's a total pain in the neck. it needs identifying and weeding out before it gets the chance to flower and seed to get rid of as much as possible.
Use glyphosate in the growing season.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Looks like creeping wood sorrel (oxalis corniculata.) Almost impossible to get rid of and digging the roots out is your best bet. Once it gets into cracks in paving etc., you're pretty much stuck with it.
Think Bob's got the right one - O. corniculata

I have the purple one and it's a right pain in the ar....... garden.
I have that! In fact, I am probably better at growing it than almost any other plant. You have to dig out the roots and pull out seedlings as often as possible. I don't use weedkiller but that's a personal choice. You are unlikely to eliminate it altogether so regard it as one of life's little trials.
