any one know what this is

    It looks very much like a Slime Mould. The copper based fungicides that were available to treat these organisms have now been withdrawn because of their impact on soils. They do not really have a bad effect on the soil and can be brushed or hosed away. They are sometimes an indicator of damp, poor soils.

    Thanx for that reply I wondered if it could have been condensation that caused it I will get rid of it tomorrow
