Privet Hedge
In late September I planted 50 privet hedge plants about 1 mitre high and 18 inches apart, planted them all in potting compost and back filled with potting compost as advised by the nurseries, My problem is on about half the plants the lower leaves are turning a purple/blue colour, should I be worried or is this normal, any advice would be appreciated.

Because they are young plants, it might just be the time of the year. Privet often doesn't become fully evergreen until it is well established and a few years old. A photo might help too, if you can post one?
