first apple harvest!

I'm celebrating the beginning of our first harvest from our espalier howgate wonder apple. I know only unblemished apples can be stored - are these blemishes significant enough to warrant eating now and not storing? Thanks!image

I would eat them now. The damage is where they will begin to decay. They may last a while but eventually they will go.

I have just picked 100 kilos oj Ashmead's Kernel. They now need sorting into keepers and chuckers. The trouble; is there as more on the tree than I have picked, but no where to keep that many and no use for them either. Sad.
