  Westonbirt Arboretum is hard to beat  but it's a bit out of the way from Sheffield Park to Gloucester!

  I also vote for Westonbirt ? I would recommend that all Autumn or Acer lovers visit this gorgeous place for some quality leaf-peeping.

  Scroggin - I sent my post before I saw your last comment so would like to share that my late Mum also loved Westonbirt - I have some lovely memories of us spending time there so I think it is special too.
