Propagation advice

Hello forkers I have to be honest I am a great gardener but a rubbish seed or bulb grower I know that sounds daft but my success rate is poor to total pants

Question I have planted some alliums and agapanthus  and cammassias in the greenhouse in pots with a plastic bag over each pot.

I planted them on September 16 and I can just make out a few shoots in a couple of pots but not all of them so when should I remove the plastic bags

I also planted perennial sweet pea seeds on the surface covered with vermiculite and only have 1 shoot from 12 seeds perhaps I let them dry out any way yes the greenhouse is heated advice please

Yep - sweet peas are hardy. They might need a little protection from the worst of the winter weather once they become small plants ( a cold frame or cold greenhouse well ventilated)  but not otherwise.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
