Garlic

I decided to try grow some garlic and planted some garlic cloves 2 weeks ago. They have already sprouted about 2 inches. Is this normal? or have I planted too early??

Thanks

Michael mpc,yes I'd like some of them. Use them most for cacaroles and fried red onions and chillies. I do make some cucumber and chilli chutney. Didn't do well with my cucumbers this year so had to buy some for the chutney. Monty trial with grafted plants and normal plants and there wasn't any difference between the two.image

  • hi logan    yes I am inclined to agree with you about grafted plants I managed to get one of my own plants not grafted  seeds)) for chilli to have enough seeds for next year  so if the grafted don't survive not to worried  have other seeds we went to Tesco today and wife got 4 cues for more relish  for home   bit daft when I gave away loads   image   still it willnot go to waste       Michael

  • Thanks, will stop worrying then and plant more at the weekend
