Planting a lemon tree in potatoe bed

Hello experts,

I have a section of garden that I have negleted for years (around 7) so year after year potatoes have grown and died and been left.

Q1. Can I plant a lemon or lime tree in this patch?  or will it be diseased and/or have the wrong nutrients / pH

Q2 How do I fix it?

Cheers Ros

Hi Ros, where in the world are you? Much too cold here in the UK for any of us to think about planting lemon or lime trees outdoors.

Morning all. Just bumping this up to let you know that Ros is Down Under in Tasmania with a warm climateimageimage

I've never grown spuds but think the soil shouldn't be a problem. Is it tomatoes that have a problem in potato soil?image
