Wherever my pile ends up, it will definitely be covered in ivy
We used to have stag beetles around here, but I haven't seen any this year and only one last year. I'm hoping that it's just that I've missed them.
Knowing their lifecycle, I doubt my little pile will make much difference but maybe they can lurk there.
