Pear tree disease
I resisted using any chemicals this year to help bees. This may or may not have resulted ina noticeable increase in black spot, apple tree fungas and a total infection of my pear tree which is covered in bright orange/brown leaves which on underside resemble an orange mountain-like structure. How can I treat this or does the tree need to be felled?

Been a common subject in the last few weeks on this forum. It's rust, this one specific to pears, but the spores linger on the fallen leaves (and on other plants) and can reinfect the following year, so good hygiene is important. Have a hunt back on the previous questions. Lots of info on it. Worse in spells of humid weather.
