Plant I.D.
Hi,
Can anyone help me identify these two plants, the first I came across when i was out, seems planted, and I was interested in what it was, the second is a weed I can't identify, Any help would be great, Thanks

first two look like lysimachia punctata, not sure on the other one.

Yes, as Hostafan1 says, the top photos look like Lysimachia punctata, a pretty garden plant with yellow star-shaped flowers (Yellow Loosestrife is it's common name).
Not sure as to the weed - looks similar to groundsel or sow's thistle. It's definitely from the Asteraceae family anyway!

that weed could be Canadian Fleabane, Erigeron canadensis
