Mauritius Native Grows Here

i am trying to find a plant native to Mauritius that likes our climate too. 

Two of my friend recently married and are enjoying there honeymo in Mauritius. For a wedding present I would like to buy them a plant that reminds them of their time there.

Something for the pot so it can be taken with them. I was thinking some sort of parm maybe.

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

    Do they have a conservatory.? Mauritius is tropical, but we have frosts and most of their plants will not survive outside here.
