Dahlias coated in powdery mildew

all my dahlias are badly infected with powdery mildew. Shall i cut them down or leave them alone till frost. They are still flowering, just look all covered with white stuff. If i cut them down at this stage, will they come back from tuber next year?

Cut them down. Newb. And obviously clean your patch up of fallen foilage.If you have no problems next year. Go back then to cutting them back when the first frosts arrive
