Anyone know what this is growing in my lawn and how to get rid of it??

  • White coral fungus, it looks like, but that means some dead wood under the grass.  I could easily be wrong.  However, it won't do any harm. Just another of nature's little miracles.

  • Got me interested now!  Look up ramariopsis biformis, which is rarely recorded, but fits the bill.  It'll be one of the group of club, spindle and coral fungi.

    Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could 'garden fungi' - a whole garden dedicated to the myriad of fascinating and beautiful fungi, toadstools etc - how beautiful would that be image

    But they're so particular in their requirements image

  • Took this photo 2 weeks ago. It is growing on a piece of willow. Fascinating stuff.
