Pruning currants
in Fruit & veg
We were given a bush with white, red and blck currants a couple of years ago for our community garden. It was pruned quite hard last year and this year has grown well but very little fruit. When and how should it be pruned? Or should we just leave it?

I sent a text message to 'Dig it' a gardening programme on Radio Sussex/ Surrey and the expert gardener Tom Brown MHort RHS who is head gardener at Parham House said to just prune it by 20 per cent in Spring. So I'll try this and see what happens!
