PLASTIC DRAIN PIPE any good for planters? If so what for?

    Plastic gutters good for sowing peas in, then sliding into place after germination. hang from the greenhouse roof to keep the mice off.

     Drainpipes are used by the men who grow giant carrots and parsnips. and for blanching celery

    I suspect you are better off with real planters such as those from Nutleys which are about 15cm tall. PLants that do well in planters include beetroot and beans.
