    Nice idea but not very pretty.
    I was thinking of the common wood/polycarbonate c/frames that would fold.
    I've got 3 3ft x 2.5ft c/frames that sit on the patio during the spring then take up 1/2 the garage the rest of the year

     hi pete, sorry, the link was intended for the original poster, i just wanted to show him what is already on the market and whether that was the kind of thing he had in mind

    I agree not very pretty and i would imagine a gust of wind would tear it to bits, i would prefer a more solid folding coldframe too

     I would like the whole product to collapse and be stored away. The mechanisms the greenhouse uses is a potential method I could use, however it must be free standing.
