Small clear balls, are they eggs?

Sorry for yet another question and thanks in advance for any answer. I just saw these in one of my pots. It had a hebe Margret in it which seemed to have died about 2 months ago.

Hope you can see it - small clear balls. Are they eggs of some sort? There quite a lot throughout the pot but the photo doesn't show it very well.

    Snails possibly

    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Yep, snails or slugs.  They can be clear or white but nearly always laid in clusters.  Good fish food if you have a pond, otherwise put them somewhere exposed for the birds, squish or black bin.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thank you B3 andn Bob, no pond so will discard.

  • Help! What are these? Found them in the dirt while clearing ivy (not the poison kind)
