Wind Resistant Climber

Hi, we are currently in the process of creating a garden from a building Site and I need to plant a couple of climbers to go over a structure/pergola that hides a tank.  Our garden is open and south facing with lovely light soil but we are in an exposed site and the winds can be very particularly wild at times.  Can anyone recommend plants that would withstand the wind...I need some help!
