Anyone know what this shrub is please?
This shrub has been in my garden for years but I've never been able to identify it. It can grow quite tall, about 6 feet, and when left to grow has these clusters of flowers. They show from about July and stay on til the first frosts.

I had 3 different colour ones but now only the red survive. They are not completely hardy in the UK so winter protection is advisable.
In late spring, cut it back by two thirds. I've had a cream one and a red one for about six years.
