Tree is turning brown
in Plants
Hello, wonder if anyone could help? I've got two ferns (I believe) in my garden and they are turning brown, was wondering what I should do to save them.
Thanks

That is dieback and, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do - the brown areas will not recover. I would get them removed and plant new trees.
Thank you so much for your awnsers I will get them out asap then, sad to see them go though as they where here when I brought the house.
Don't be tempted to get those again, either. It's cupressus macrocarpa 'Goldcrest' and is prone to suffering from exposure to cold winds/extreme cold (like many of us!)

If you want something else with an upright habit Taxus baccata standishii is a much better plant
