Identification needed!

Can anyone identify this shrub please? Age unknown as it was already here in 2009 when we moved in. Height now 80cm with a spread of 150cm, small clusters of evergreen leaves, slow growing and non-flowering. I think it may be coniferous and my wife thinks it could be part of the hebe family!

    I thought it might be Hebe salicornioides??

    Not familiar with that one at all L'bird. Just looked at info on it. It still looks a bit neater and closer growing than the pix I found. Tricky!

    Its rather nice. Has an almost heather look about it. I wondered if it may have been clipped at all to keep it tidy? I think thats a good shout H-C.

    Thanks to everyone for help - at least we now know it's a hebe!
